Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-5 years of related work experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints, perform shop math, and use precision measurement equipment.
  • Willingness to work 2nd shift (2 PM - 10:30 PM, M-F) and overtime when needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and wear PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.) with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, align, adjust, and fit subassemblies and parts using appropriate tools and fixtures per work instructions.
  • Clean parts using acetone, braze assemble components per work instructions.
  • Perform preset calibration and final testing on sub-assemblies or complete units.
  • Clean parts and maintain tooling and equipment per work instructions.
  • Perform precision measurements using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMMs.
  • Collaborate in a team environment focused on lean manufacturing, safety, and productivity.
  • Take ownership of compliance, safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Utilize computer programs to enter part data (e.g., serial number), log time, look up instructions.
  • Utilize work instructions, set-up sheets and method documents to correctly set up machines and inspect machined parts.
  • Ability to work overtime, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work occasional weekend shifts, with or without reasonable accommodation.
