Requirements

  • Typically requires High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D in the US) OR vocational/technical education in a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Career Readiness Certification (CRC) preferred.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a repetitive, fast-paced environment and meet production timelines.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from leads/supervisors.
  • Intermediate computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Understanding of the end use of the products being built.

Responsibilities

  • Set up workstations, assemble components, load parts, and operate basic tools and semi-automatic equipment.
  • Follow procedures, routings, and written instructions accurately to produce high-quality parts with zero defects.
  • Identify and escalate part defects, ensuring all products meet customer expectations, deadlines, and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and participate in daily/weekly/monthly cleaning and 5S activities.
  • Rotate across workstations based on business needs to build versatility and support production flow.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
  • Complete all required training, maintain certifications, and stay compliant with quality systems and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with leads and supervisors on status, issues, or conditions affecting quality or output.
