About The Position

The San Marcos, TX facility is looking to fill a Mechanical Assembler III Role. You will plan and perform a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly, tests, fabrications, and inspection operations on various products in standard and non-standard environments to maintain flow of work. We offer a shift differential of $2.00hr per hours worked on 2nd shift. Requirements

Typically, a High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant manufacturing/and or Assembly experience is required
4 or more years of Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams and/or engineering drawings to assemble equipment.
4 or more years of Experience with general hand and/or power tools

Nice To Haves

2 years minimum of relevant machine operation experience highly preferred
Maintenance or automated welding experience  preferred.
Familiarity with resistance welding

Responsibilities

Performs quality work checks, identifies product defects and records identified defects.
Reworks and/or repairs assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
Precision Assembly: Utilize hand tools such as drills, torque wrenches, rivet guns, grinders, orbital sanders, and pull motors, for daily assembly tasks.
Measurement & Inspection: Employ measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and standard rulers, to ensure products meet specifications.
Blueprints & Instructions: Adherence and understanding of blueprints and operation sheets for standard work instructions in assembling products.
Equipment Adjustment: Adjust equipment based on test results and a thorough understanding of processes and machinery.
Testing & Recording: Conduct tests for oxygen purity and moisture content at various stages of the process, recording gauge readings and test results.
Compliance & Safety: Adhere to PPE and cleanroom standards to prevent foreign objects and debris from contaminating products.
Quality & Safety Standards: Perform all tasks in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Must be willing and able to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a standing position for up to 10 hours per day.
