Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace engineering
- Experience with manufacturing processes and materials science
- Knowledge of standards and regulations such as MIL-STD or ASME
- Knowledge of DoD sustainment and acquisition processes
- Knowledge of DoD Technical Data Package (TDP) creation and DoD acquisition requirements generation
- Ability to review and understand technical drawings and identify critical characteristics
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues for mechanical systems and components
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information, resolve technical issues, and present to senior ranking officials
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field such as Mechanical Engineering or Systems Engineering
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SysML and digital engineering processes and tools such as Cameo, Teamcenter, or related tools
- Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Experience with DoD Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E)
- Ability to coordinate and manage Engineering Technical Assistance Request (ETAR) processes and procedures, including AFMC guidelines and the use of AF Form 107 and AF Form 202
- Master's degree in Engineering
