About The Position

D.C. Elevator is part of American Elevator Group (AEG), the largest independent elevator service company in North America, consisting of a collection of well-established elevator service companies operating throughout the United States. Backed by Arcline Investment Management, AEG has a significant footprint in the elevator industry and is rapidly growing. Due to growth, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to work in the Lexington, KY area to help us continue providing our customers with the best services possible. In this role, you will be providing hands-on Maintenance service to our customer's elevators ensuring that the equipment is functioning properly.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic
• Ability to read technical manuals and related documents
• Experience troubleshooting and conducting repairs on vertical transportation devices
• Valid state elevator license (recommended)
• Clean driver's license

Nice To Haves

• CET license (not required but a plus)

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on maintenance service to elevators
• Ensure that elevator equipment is functioning properly
• Conduct on-site repair and replacement of equipment on vertical transportation devices
• Follow established safety, maintenance, and testing procedures
