About The Position
Under the direction of the Superintendent of Maintenance or designate, the Mechanic performs comprehensive maintenance and repair work on Pace vehicles. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance inspections, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and performing general repairs on all company vehicles and equipment. Removing and replacing all units and rebuilding small components. Making service calls, completing all required documents, accounting for all materials used in accordance with the work order system. Performing Foreman's duties as needed. Performing other duties as assigned or required.
