About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Overhaul and repair of aircraft brake assemblies per Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) requirements. 2. Follows procedures, processes, and inspection techniques using various equipment in order to complete tasks. 3. Must ensure proper tracking and documentation of activities and parts control is maintained. 4. Reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language. 5. Following safety rules and procedures. 6. Keeping the work area clean and neat. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and understand spoken and written English.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to provide verbal and written direction to assigned staff.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stand, walk, talk or hear, and use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds
  • Working knowledge of personal computers, keyboards, and various software programs.
  • Working knowledge of shipping processes.
  • Must have reliable transportation to work.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug test and background check.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Proven organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to explain how and why specific conclusions were reached.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with general aviation or corporate jet aircraft preferred.
  • High school graduate; some college and/or technical school desirable.
