About The Position

The Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the companies diesel/gasoline engine trucks. This person will also perform preventive and corrective maintenance, failure analysis, diagnostics, repairs, inspections, assembling and rebuilding of all components or equipment (e.g.: engines, power trains, hydraulics, fuel systems, power generation, electrical codes). Requirements

Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and deadline-driven
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Power Point
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
Exceptional problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Supply Management, or 3-5 years’ experience in a similar job role
Ability to work in inclement weather, long hours, and lift at least 40 pounds repeatedly.
Physical demands of the position include sitting, standing, bending, climbing, agility, reaching, trunk movements, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, low level work, dexterity of hands and fingers, seeing, hearing and talking.

Responsibilities

Maintains, diagnoses and repairs a variety of equipment including; diesel/gasoline engines, standard and automatic transmissions, high pressure pumps, low pressure pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, PTO’s, chemical metering systems, 12/24 volt electrical systems, equipment cabs and controls, chassis and suspension, rims, tires and wheels, electro-mechanical equipment, and pressure equipment and various other types of oilfield related equipment.
Execute required procedures for preventative maintenance.
Perform inspections required by company and government entities.
Perform basic troubleshooting with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Repair and refurbish hydraulic and pneumatic power equipment.
Read and follow repair manual.
Read and interpret basic measuring equipment.
Perform repairs as listed in manuals.
Operate and maintain power equipment.
Order parts as necessary for equipment with prior approval.
Install and/or replace new or reconditioned repair parts.
Basic testing of equipment for proper operation.
Complete proper paperwork as assigned.
May be required to assist other maintenance employees.
All other duties as assigned.
