About The Position

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical repairs of trucks, diesel engines, and hydraulics
  • Valid Class B CDL or the ability to acquire one

Nice To Haves

  • Experience maintaining landscape or construction equipment is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Manage the ongoing maintenance and repair of company vehicles and tree care equipment, which can include bucket and chip trucks (gas and diesel), aerial lifts, chippers, stump grinders, and hydraulic sprayers
  • Diagnose problems, make repairs, and perform preventative maintenance
  • Maintain service logs and records of maintenance
  • Perform routine inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
  • Place orders and maintain an inventory of parts and supplies
  • Communicate and coordinate significant repairs and maintenance with the Local Manager
  • Adhere to all safety standards, policies, and procedures
