Essential Functions Inspect, diagnose, rebuild, replace, or repair vehicle parts such as engines, brakes, transmission lines, electrical assemblies, and accessories. Tighten bolts and screws and reassemble equipment and vehicle's repaired, ensuring they are safe and in good working condition. Drive vehicle to test brakes or align wheels. Perform tune-ups, oil changes, and other routine preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment, replacing common parts and making adjustments. Lookup and understand the manufacturer's specifications, technical bulletins, service or repair manuals. Follow vehicle repair procedures. Report discrepancies and safety hazards on all vehicles and properties on the appropriate forms.
