About The Position
A General Service Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair work on vehicles and equipment, ensuring they function properly and safely. Key Responsibilities Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks. Diagnostics: Assess and diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment. Repairs: Perform repairs on various vehicle suspension, brakes, tires.. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED; additional technical training or certification in automotive repair is preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years previous experience in automotive repair or a related field is advantageous.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
