About The Position

Our client is seeking a Mechanic to support maintenance operations at a water treatment facility in The Villages, FL. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with mechanical experience who thrives in a team-oriented, operational environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair
• Valid driver’s license with no major infractions
• 24.00

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on water treatment plants and related equipment
• Maintain buildings, structures, grounds, machinery, and facility systems
• Inspect, lubricate, and troubleshoot equipment to identify and resolve issues
• Replace packing in pumps and valves
• Replace bearings in motors, pumps, and other mechanical equipment
• Support uninterrupted facility operations through efficient maintenance practices
• Collaborate with team members to address maintenance challenges and improve performance
