Job Summary The Fleet Mechanic / Oil & Lube Technician is responsible for keeping all vehicles in the fleet roadworthy and ready for service when needed. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. Performs preventive maintenance and repair work on Heavy Duty Fleet equipment. (Semi trucks and trailers). Reviews driver vehicle inspection reports. DVIR Responsible for being familiar with and observing all company safety rules and regulations; recognizes that safety is top company priority; attends regularly scheduled safety meetings. Need to have good understanding of hydraulic systems. Sweeps, cleans, organizes shop using 5S principles. Maybe required to answer roadside calls for disabled vehicles. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 yrs exp on Heavy Duty Semi Trucks or Heavy Duty Semi Trailers.
• Brakes, wheel seals, S Cams, Slack Adjusters.
• Grease and Oil Changes.
• Minimum 2 years electrical trouble shooting
• Must have own tools
• 1 year welding/metal fabrication.
• Must pass MVR and Background Check

Nice To Haves

• CDL A or B
• Excellent work attendance history.
