About The Position
The job of Mechanic is for the purpose/s of determining and completing needed repairs and replacements on all district vehicles; performing preventative maintenance; documenting activities in compliance with mandated requirements; and serving as a bus driver whose responsiblitys include transporting students over scheduled routes and ensuring safety of students during transport, loading and unloading from buses. This job reports to the Transportation Director.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License/Evidence of Insurability
- CPR/First Aid Certificate
- Defensive Driving
- CDL with P,S & Air Brake endorsements
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance
- Kansas Certification of Health
