The Mechanic role is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing facility and production equipment issues, including electrical, structural, plumbing, and mechanical systems. This role performs preventive maintenance on building systems and production conveyor lines to ensure safe and efficient operations. Primary duties include routine plumbing repairs (unstopping toilets, sinks, and urinals; repairing leaks and faucets), basic electrical repairs (changing light bulbs and fluorescent lamps; assisting with ballast and fixture repairs), repairing and replacing windows, doors, locks, and closures, patching walls, and painting interior and exterior surfaces. The position is also responsible for purchasing necessary supplies, equipment, and materials to complete assigned projects. The Mechanic role must strictly follow all SOPs and safety procedures, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and assist management with additional tasks to support business needs.
