About The Position

We’re more than just a distributor; we’re a team dedicated to innovation, service excellence, and growth. We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical duties to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of equipment and vehicles. While the primary responsibilities are outlined below, additional tasks may be assigned by management as needed. Responsibilities may vary depending on the size and scope of the location and operational needs.

Requirements

  • Experience with diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, and electrical diagnostics
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagnostic tools
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking
  • CDL or willingness to obtain (if delivery assistance is needed)
  • Communicate maintenance needs and concerns clearly
  • Represent the company professionally at all times
  • Follow all company policies, including uniform and safety requirements
  • Willingness to work overtime or adjust schedule as needed
  • Attendance on a regular, consistent basis is mandatory, including arriving at the time as scheduled

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift/material handling certification a plus

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fuel system issues
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Complete overhauls, part replacements, and upgrades on equipment and vehicles
  • Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and adjustments
  • Maintain accurate service records in compliance with DOT standards
  • Operate shop equipment safely and perform minor troubleshooting
  • Support parts inventory tracking, ordering, and monthly audits
  • Ensure all work meets federal and state safety requirements
  • Occasionally deliver/pick up fuel tanks to client sites
  • Assist with warehouse duties and driver deliveries as needed
