About The Position

Do you love working on trucks? We have a large fleet of 100+ trucks, everything from half tons to semis. If you are looking for a place you can bring your mechanic experience and be part of a great team of mechanics for our St. Paul location , you have found the place. Winter Hours: Flexible schedule (40 hours per week). Spring to Fall Hours: Set Schedule Hourly Rate: DOE- $22-$40/ hour DOE FT Benefit Eligible - medical, dental, vision, disability, life, PTO ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for our Mechanic : Maintain and repair company equipment and vehicles. Our fleet includes: p ickup trucks, dump trucks, semi-trucks, s kid loaders, front end loaders, excavators, trailers and s mall engine equipment. Knowledgeable in brakes, suspension, cooling, light engine work, and transmission Drivability assessment – diagnose sounds, check engine lights, sensors Ability to trouble shoot hydraulic mechanisms such as plows and dump trucks Ability to read and interpret diagrams and instructions for repair and maintenance of equipment Demonstrates ability to problem solve electrical issues, 12/24V systems Metal Fab/Welding; wire feed and stick Performs preventive maintenance inspections Demonstrates timely and effective communication- verbal, non-verbal, and written Demonstrates high quality decision making in a fast paced and quickly evolving environment QUALIFICATIONS Required 3 + years of mechanic experience Valid driver license with a clean driving record Own your basic tools – company to provide specialty tools Must be able to pass a pre- employment drug test. Requirements

  • Valid driver license with a clean driving record
  • Own your basic tools – company to provide specialty tools
  • Must be able to pass a pre- employment drug test
