As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are in safe and working condition. Requirements

• CDL license required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mechanic
• Experience with computer diagnostic tools and software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Experience in DOT Inspections/Pre and Post Trip Inspection Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage fleet to ensure vehicles are in good operating order.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on passenger cars, trucks, diesel tractors and trailers.
• Parts ordering and management.
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed in Manager Plus internet-based program.
• Weekly reviews of needs and activity with Branch Manager.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop.
