Duties and Responsibilities: Diagnose issues, maintain and repair fleet equipment such as vehicles and trailers, along with heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, and plows Schedule preventative and daily repairs on equipment Inspect, operate and test equipment to ensure proper functioning of equipment and it’s components Perform safety checks to avoid DOT, OSHA, and safety violations and keep machines in excellent operating condition Safety training as required by position Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed Essential Education and Qualifications: Must have the level of knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose and repair fleet and heavy equipment Must have the ability to work and communicate effectively with employees and customers Ability to use hand tools to repair equipment Preferred Skills: Experience with hydraulics and electrical Experience working in the field ideal Class A Driver's License Physical Demands: Requires endurance to stand, stoop, bend and work on and under equipment for long periods of time Benefits offered to eligible employees include medical, dental, vision, and supplemental life insurance, along with Paid Time Off, paid Holidays, traditional and ROTH 401(k) options with company match, employee stock purchase plan, education assistance program, employee assistance program, training and development opportunities, Telecommunications Industry Registered Apprenticeship Program, and a Commercial Driver’s License obtainment program.
