About The Position

Utilize your mechanical knowledge in maintaining a high-speed can manufacturing line. Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify all mechanical systems. Use precision measuring tools and work with close tolerances up to .0010. Work with management to improve work area, safety, quality, cost, and productivity.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or Vocational or Technical degree
2 plus years of experience as an industrial mechanic
Desire to operate and maintain Silgan's can lines by performing and documenting quality checks and measurements

Troubleshooting mechanical systems
Maintaining mechanical systems
Repairing mechanical systems
Modifying mechanical systems
Using precision measuring tools
Working with close tolerances up to .0010
Working with management to improve work area, safety, quality, cost, and productivity

Benefits

Starting pay of $31.32 per hour
Additional overtime offered, as needed
