About The Position

This position is responsible to diagnose issues, adjust, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position is location at our Truck shop in Talking Rock, GA.

Requirements

Must have Diesel Mechanic experience.
6 months experience in Maintenance
A maintenance apprenticeship or degree from a technical school will be considered in lieu of experience.
Industrial maintenance or mechanical certification preferred.
All applicants must list detailed job experience related to work history\ history, skills, and education information on application.
Duties could include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching, climbing up and down stairs and ladders.
Lifting is required in many areas (up to 70 pounds).
Successful completion of a respiratory physical will be necessary.
Proficiency in reading and writing, ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.
