About The Position
The Industrial Diesel Mechanic/Technician is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and overhauling various diesel-powered equipment including Fork Trucks, Loaders, Bobcats, Trucks, and Welding Machines. This role requires a thorough understanding of diesel engines and the ability to perform routine maintenance and complex repairs. The technician will follow a checklist of inspection procedures, test drive vehicles to diagnose malfunctions, and utilize diagnostic equipment to interpret test results. Additionally, the technician will be involved in routine maintenance tasks and may work on electrical systems and major engine repairs as needed.
