About The Position
The position involves performing Front Line Mechanic inspections, preventive maintenance, and all phases of repair on heavy duty diesel equipment and trucks according to established policies and procedures. The role requires hydraulic experience and includes mechanical and electrical repairs. The mechanic will respond to equipment breakdowns in the field, assist other mechanics as needed, and operate company vehicles safely. Completing all required paperwork accurately and on time is essential, and the mechanic must be prepared to respond in emergency situations as needed. Additional duties may be assigned by the Shop Supervisor or Equipment Manager.
