The position is responsible for repairs and required preventive maintenance of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, trucks, and/or other heavy equipment. The individual will interpret work orders and technical manuals, repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems, and test repaired equipment for proper performance to ensure the work meets manufacturer's specifications and legislated regulations. Regular attendance is required. The role also involves inspecting, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing maintenance on equipment as required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), company, and any other Federal, State, or Local regulations.
