What You’ll Do Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty tractors and trailers in accordance with DOT regulations and company standards Includes engines, transmissions, brake systems, drive-line components, trailer floors, doors, suspensions, and refrigeration systems Learn and use diagnostic tools and electronic systems to troubleshoot equipment issues and fault alarms Gain hands-on experience with welding, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel Assist with light- and medium-duty fleet maintenance, including engines, brakes, transmissions, and cargo areas Support maintenance and repairs on powered industrial equipment and material handling equipment Complete assigned work in a timely and efficient manner Accurately complete work orders and required documentation for both company and regulatory compliance What's In It For Me? Requirements

  • Six months to one year related experience and/or training.
  • Pursuing an Associate’s degree (A.A.) from two-year college or technical college is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty tractors and trailers in accordance with DOT regulations and company standards
  • Includes engines, transmissions, brake systems, drive-line components, trailer floors, doors, suspensions, and refrigeration systems
  • Learn and use diagnostic tools and electronic systems to troubleshoot equipment issues and fault alarms
  • Gain hands-on experience with welding, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
  • Assist with light- and medium-duty fleet maintenance, including engines, brakes, transmissions, and cargo areas
  • Support maintenance and repairs on powered industrial equipment and material handling equipment
  • Complete assigned work in a timely and efficient manner
  • Accurately complete work orders and required documentation for both company and regulatory compliance
