This position will be located at our Rock Springs, WY branch. The position of a Mechanic Technician is primarily responsible for assisting in performing routine and specialized mechanical repairs, including troubleshooting, electrical repairs, brake systems, hydraulic systems, diesel/gas engines, and preventive maintenance in all fleet vehicles/equipment. It requires keeping records of work performed and keeping a clean and safe work area.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver's License "CDL" required
- 1+ years Mechanic experience
- Must be able to work weekends as needed
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance according to set schedules
- Basic or better electrical skills and capable of reading simple schematics
- Off premises repairs as needed to support field crews
- Light duty and medium duty brake system repairs/maintenance
- Hydraulic system knowledge is a plus
- Ability to build tires or willingness to learn
- Ability to self-start and stay focused on the task at hand
- Maintain a positive attitude and ability to work as a team player
