About The Position

The Technician will diagnose, repair, and install components as instructed using required hand and/or power tools. Responsibilities include diagnosing problems, performing routine maintenance, knowledge / proper usage of shop tools, following safety protocols, and documenting work performed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (trade school in truck repair a plus)
• Technician shop experience required (heavy-duty diesel / truck experience a plus)
• CDL B (if not held must be willing / able to attain)

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing problems and identifying the root cause of technical issues using diagnostic tools and problem-solving skills.
• Performing routine checks, cleaning, safety inspections, and preventative maintenance to ensure the equipment operates efficiently and to prevent breakdowns.
• Knowledge of shop tools is required, including but not limited to: hand tools, jacks, welders, lifts, presses.
• Adhering to all safety standards set forth by the company and performing job duties in a safe manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor to discuss diagnostics, repairs, etc.
