About The Position

Level C Refrigeration mechanics have no RETA certification, but enrolled/completing Level I certification within 6 months of hire; handles routine refrigeration preventative maintenance and repairs. Receives OJT (on-the-job) training for the operation, maintenance, and controls of plants refrigeration equipment. Works under supervision for all repairs and maintenance.

Requirements

• H/S, Technical
• 1-2 yrs. related experience HVAC, Trade
• RETA I Certification within 6 month of hire.
• HazMat Trained.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understands the basic theory, practical knowledge, and skills to safely and successfully function as an entry-level mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Handles basic routine refrigeration preventative maintenance and repair.
• Complete work orders as assigned.
• Set up/tear down/adjust equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns, assess and coordinate proper resources to address problem.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions. Lock out Tag out procedures and Process Safety Management related matters.
• Must be able to work 6:30PM - 6: 30AM.
