The position involves operating and maintaining filling equipment to detect and repair abnormalities, ensuring a safe workplace, maintaining equipment in optimum conditions, producing quality products, and meeting productivity standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Two years mechanical training or previous work-related skill, knowledge in packaging/production environment.
  • Basic math and computer skills required.
  • Experience working with electric conduits of various voltages.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatics, and controls aspects of production equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to see a complex task or project through to completion.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and be detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work across functions.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs without assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain filling equipment.
  • Ensure a safe workplace.
  • Maintain equipment in optimum conditions.
  • Produce a quality product.
  • Meet productivity standards.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance following a predictive maintenance methodology.
  • Change over the equipment according to production requirements.
  • Make minor machine adjustments and document the work done.
  • Maintain correct set-up specs and its documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Read and complete all required production documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Follow all EPC Safety/Environmental, GMP, and Lean 5S policies and regulation guidelines.
