Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus specialized mechanical training or partial college in a mechanical trade.
  • Completion of accredited apprentice program or five years equivalent experience as a line mechanic within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Minimum of five years applicable CGMP experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficiency in the use of computer programs/systems.
  • Ability to maintain skills and knowledge current with advances in the field of Pharmaceutical Development.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily assignments based on demonstrated technical competence and mechanical/operator aptitude.
  • Follow written procedures and verbal instructions with strict attention to safety and quality.
  • Document operations accurately and in an exacting fashion without error.
  • Collaborate with other employees to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Handle potent compounds and follow safety procedures including annual gown/respirator training.
