What you’ll do Disassemble and clean parts for rebuild. Reassemble new or reconditioned parts. Use of jib cranes, fork trucks, and overhead cranes-all training provided. Bearing disassembly, cleaning, mounting, and assembly Tube bending Use of a torch Use of measuring devices, calipers, mics, feeler gauges Perform field service jobs with steel mills. Routinely repair/maintain facility machinery, tools, and equipment. Blueprint reading-interpret drawings. Complete inspection forms and related paperwork Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and orderly. Perform daily clean up, removal of trash, coolant, oil, scrap, chips, etc What you’ll need High School Diploma or Equivalent. Mechanic/Millwright experience in the Manufacturing Industry. Must have 3-5 years of mechanic-like experience. Good working knowledge of mechanical tools. Mathematics - knows basic shop math and other functions necessary for the job. Blueprint reading - interprets drawings. Self-motivated to identify, analyze and independently work to find solutions to flow issues. Ability to learn and understand critical processes and operations in assigned areas. Must be able to show a high level of job-related documentation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Mechanic/Millwright experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
  • Must have 3-5 years of mechanic-like experience.
  • Good working knowledge of mechanical tools.
  • Mathematics - knows basic shop math and other functions necessary for the job.
  • Blueprint reading - interprets drawings.
  • Self-motivated to identify, analyze and independently work to find solutions to flow issues.
  • Ability to learn and understand critical processes and operations in assigned areas.
  • Must be able to show a high level of job-related documentation.
