As a Maintenance Mechanic in Greenwood, SC, you will play a key role in our operations, supporting ambitious projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general troubleshooting and repairing of equipment to maintain efficient performance.
  • Examine machine components for wear/damage, replacing or rebuilding as necessary, and strictly adhere to maintenance standards.
  • Respond to trends in quality and machine performance with proven problem-solving skills.
  • Take self-initiative to learn and adapt to both existing and new equipment, ensuring compliance with training requirements.
  • Carry out mechanical duties as directed by Senior Lead and/or Lead Coordinators.
  • Conduct daily preventive maintenance (PM), perform bar changes, verifications, and quality checks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all machinery and work areas.
  • Follow all safety and cGMP guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Be prepared to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, and accommodate additional hours as dictated by business needs.
  • Attendance on-site is essential to this role.
  • Make sound business and quality decisions that align with company goals.
  • Perform mechanical and basic electrical duties necessary to meet departmental objectives.
  • Complete PM, PDM, and breakdown maintenance tasks according to instructions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing maintenance, mechanical, or technical roles.
  • A 2-year technical degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems, troubleshoot effectively, and collaborate within a team.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and exhibit integrity in all interactions.
