Expectations As a Mechanical Assembler at Valmet you will work to assembly and disassemble mechanical roll equipment for the paper industry. Having a strong mechanical aptitude will ensure success for this position. This a is rotating shift position. Primary duties will include: Assembly / Disassembly of bearings, housings and water cooling apparatus to make repairs. Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production equipment. Record parts and materials used as well as prepare time and production records as required. Read blueprints and manufacturers’ manuals to determine correct installation and operation of machinery. Light Machining. To succeed in this role you will need High school diploma or general education degree (GED) along with strong mechanical aptitude. Starting pay at $32.73 an hour! Requirements
