About The Position

Shift opportunities: Sun-Thurs 10:30pm-7am / Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm OR Mon-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm. Requirements

  • 2-year experience
  • Must be able to maneuver 100lbs with tooling
  • Ability to lift/move 50lbs independently
  • Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and agree to company drug free workplace policies

Nice To Haves

  • New York state inspectors license
  • Proficient in OEM software for diagnostics and programing
  • Can perform bi-directional test with J-pro and other software
  • Aftertreatment diagnostic and repairs
  • Install complete power take-off and wet line systems
  • Fabrication and welding (structural)

Responsibilities

  • ALL C-Level duties, responsibilities and qualifications:
  • Mount/dismount tires
  • Understand and repair basic air brake systems and components
  • Wheel end repair/replacement procedures
  • Electrical and lighting diagnostics, repair, and replacement
  • Clutch and Transmission
  • Trailer PMs
  • Basic bolt on trailer and engine components
  • Install decals
  • Must verify all inspections and registration is on each unit
  • Install ELD and camera systems
  • Tractor PMs and LOFs
  • Tarp system repairs and installation
  • Trailer cylinder replacement
  • Drive line repairs/replacement
  • A/C certified
  • Air brake certified
  • Basic fabrication skills
  • Steel and aluminum welding [nonstructural]
  • B-Level duties, responsibilities and qualifications:
  • Qualified to perform annual federal DOT inspections
  • All engine, tractor, and trailer bolt on components
  • ABS diagnostic and repairs
  • All types of suspension bushings and components
  • Tractor and Trailer alignments
  • Fifth wheel / Coupling
  • Kingpin and bushings
  • Differential diagnostics and replacement
  • Hydraulic diagnostics and repairs
  • Must be able to follow diagrams and blueprints as needed
  • Can properly use a tablet or computer to log repair orders, parts, and data
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area
  • Annual required training
  • Regular Attendance & Punctuality
