About The Position

The Mechanic III Packaging position at Lamb Weston is responsible for the routine and non-routine repair and maintenance of packaging equipment and systems. Requirements

• Extensive mechanical aptitude and experience with packaging equipment.
• Ability to perform troubleshooting and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Competence in using SAP for maintenance documentation and equipment management.
• Knowledge of electrical components and ability to perform re-wiring as needed.
• Experience with welding and fabrication processes.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with robotics and automation in packaging systems.
• Familiarity with safety and maintenance standards in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and promote safe work practices at all times.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to identify defects and root causes.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment performance using SAP and other systems.
• Assist other work groups and contractors with maintenance tasks as directed.
• Evaluate equipment performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize operation.
• Participate in safety programs and maintain a clean work area.
