Who we are looking for: The Mechanic III (senior-level) is expected to handle diagnosis and repairs of vehicles as assigned by the shop office. The ideal candidate will have multiple years of experience in an automotive repair capacity.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • ASE Certified
  • This individual should be able to diagnose vehicle issues at an advanced level.
  • Able to complete a high percentage of vehicle repairs.
  • Able to perform routine maintenance, including oil changes and tire repair/replacement.
  • Road test vehicles to ensure repair work was completed properly.
  • Work with Shop admins to provide detail of repair estimates for clients.
  • Comply with all Safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections.
  • Ability to learn job specific computer programs.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to prioritize duties.
  • Must be able to follow through on tasks to completion.
  • Able to communicate well both in person and in writing.
  • Must be able and willing to be underneath vehicles to do visual frame inspection.
  • Must have own tools.

Responsibilities

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Repair automobiles, trucks, and other motor vehicles.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance including mounting tires and oil changes.
  • Possess a working knowledge of how vehicle components work and interact.
  • Repair vehicles that run on gasoline, electricity, or alternative fuels.
  • Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components, including bad fuel pumps and removing security systems.
  • Must be flexible to work extra hours if needed, including occasional weekends.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
