About The Position
The City of Coronado is accepting applications for the position of Mechanic II in the Department of Public Services and Engineering. This department is responsible for maintaining the City's physical infrastructure, including beaches, facilities, parks, sanitary sewer and storm drain systems, and rights of way, while ensuring public health and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills to work effectively with all City Departments, employees, and service providers. The candidate should be self-motivated, take initiative, and work well in a team-oriented environment. The role involves performing skilled maintenance and repairs on a variety of light-duty, heavy-duty, and emergency services vehicles.
