Summary: Responsible for maintenance of equipment and facilities; including predictive/preventive maintenance (planned), corrective/emergency maintenance, as well participating in upgrading existing equipment and installation of new equipment. All to be accomplished while ensuring that the equipment and facilities meet GMP requirements.

Requirements

  • Associate degree (A.A.), Technical school or above in electric/mechanic-electric, or six plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of Electric and Electrical devices from high voltage to control voltages.
  • Familiar with PLC programs.
  • Exceptional mechanical knowledge and prowess.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write/fill out routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Have good judgment and decision-making skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills, influence, planning and execution skills.
  • Ability to learn and use standard specialized computer software and hardware, including but not limited to Microsoft Office/Teams, Enterprise software (SAP), PLC programing software and other hardware specific software.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnoses and repairs the cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment, performs preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Electrical, mechanical and facilities equipment installation, improvement/modification with the goal of improving uptime/reliability and throughput.
  • Maintain good housing keeping and safety compliance meeting both company requirement and GMP standards.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
