About The Position

The Refrigeration / HVAC / Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general repairs and preventative maintenance activities to utility systems, buildings, and associated equipment. This position assists with the development and improvement of the facility maintenance methods and procedures.

Requirements

  • One to two (1-2) years working experience in the installation, troubleshooting and repair of Gas Fired Heaters and mechanical HVAC systems.
  • Must possess a current National or State Refrigeration License.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to be covered by Worley auto insurer.
  • North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC). Worley can provide NSTC certification training if needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Three (3) years’ experience working in remote North Slope environment.
  • Five (5) years’ experience with the refrigeration repair, troubleshooting and repair of Gas Fired boilers and mechanical HVAC Systems.

Responsibilities

  • To install, troubleshoot and repair various types of Refrigeration units and systems.
  • Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance activities on utility systems, buildings, and equipment as required.
  • Monitor and repair Refrigeration/ HVAC systems, boilers, controls, plumbing, exhaust fan, Kitchen equipment, and other facility equipment.
  • Inspect and repair electrical and mechanical problems as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inspection and maintenance activities.
  • Prepare and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Make recommendations to modify or replace equipment.
  • Work with other trades to complete projects as needed.
  • Organize and direct the work of installation contractors as required.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and the general work area.
  • Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
  • Support Worley zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
