About The Position

H2O Innovation provides public works management services & operations assistance for water & wastewater treatment plants to municipalities, government organizations, and businesses across North America.

H2O is currently seeking a
Mechanic
to join our team in Long Beach, Mississippi.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical or trade school preferred).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Proven experience as a mechanic (automotive, diesel or heavy equipment).
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs. and work in various conditions.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Strong problem solving and time management skills.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and a wide range of tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles, machinery, and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, oil changes, and tune-ups.
• Troubleshoot issues with engines, hydraulics, electrical systems and brakes.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Order and install replacement parts as needed.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards.
• Keep tools, shop area, and equipment clean and organized.
• Support field crews by repairing equipment used for water and wastewater operations.
