About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is to rebuild major components for mechanical drive heavy equipment trucks including but not limited to rear wheel groups, front corner groups, brake assembles and differentials.

Requirements

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
At least one-year mechanical work experience or equivalent education is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50# is required.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in heavy equipment repair; mechanical aptitude, and basic understanding of precision measuring tools preferred.

Responsibilities

Safety – conduct all activities in a safe manner, utilizing PPE and adhering to company policy and alerting others regarding potential concerns. Safety is # 1.
Adhere to all H-E Parts company policies and procedures
Maintain a good attendance record and maintain the highest level of professional conduct.
Work as a team to assist with or teardown large and small components and assemblies
Clean and prep parts for inspection
Move components by operating overhead cranes, jib hoists and pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.
Prepare and secure parts for transportation throughout the shop area
Maintain a level of cleanliness throughout your work areas and the shop for good housekeeping and safety
Learn operation of part and pressure washers
Demonstrate an aptitude to learn and grow within the department and shop
Perform other duties as assigned
