About The Position
Summary: Assists mechanics by performing the primary function of sewing equipment maintenance, such as lubricating equipment, installing needle protectors, and performing other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in industrial equipment or sewing equipment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Does preventive maintenance on equipment (i.e., change oil, blow motors, adjust machines, clean machines, check times)
- Record keeping- records equipment preventive maintenance by keeping logs on maintenance performed.
- Install safety equipment, such as needle protectors and guards.
- All other duties as assigned.
