Where You’ll Work Mercy Hospital is an 82 bed, acute care hospital located in the scenic southwestern Colorado town of Durango. It is the only hospital in Colorado to be rated by Medicare with five stars for overall hospital quality. Perform all preventative maintenance and repairs necessary for regulatory compliance, quality patient care, staff and safety in the assigned areas. Job Requirements In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D. required
  • Quality Improvement Process
  • Demonstrate experience (1-2 yrs) and proficiency in the following areas: Maintenance plumbing; Maintenance Electrical; Carpentry; General equipment repair; Troubleshooting: fire alarm and safety stytems

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of NFPA, Joint Commission, and OSHA standards for healthcare facilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Current of previous licensure (jurneyman, plumber, electrician)
