About The Position
We are seeking an Aircraft Composites Mechanic to repair, modify, and rebuild composite parts. This role involves using engineering drawings, performing various composite repairs, and handling essential repair materials. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of composite materials and processes
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of related commercial/military aircraft maintenance experience.
Nice To Haves
- Airframe or Airframe and Powerplant License preferred.
Responsibilities
- Repair, replace, and rebuild composite parts
- Utilize OEM and Engineering drawings to modify composite parts
- Accomplish wet lay-up repairs
- Accomplish elevated temperature repairs
- Understand quote process
- Knows all standard chemicals, epoxies, sealants, resins, pre-pregs, composite repair materials and their associated MSDS
