About The Position

The Mechanic - Auto / Diesel / Forklift Technician position at Crown Equipment Corporation involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing various makes of lift trucks. This role is essential for maintaining customer satisfaction through effective service delivery and requires a strong mechanical background. Technicians will work out of the Pompano Beach Branch, covering Medley and surrounding areas, and will be provided with a company vehicle and tools necessary for the job.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Technical degree
• Previous lift truck repair experience
• Welding experience
• Knowledge of various types of testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.
