About The Position

APAC Central Inc., is a CRH company producing and providing crushed aggregate materials, sand, ready-mix concrete, asphalt, and performing as a regional heavy highway/infrastructure construction firm serving Arkansas, Oklahoma, and southern Missouri. The position involves providing repair and maintenance to construction/off highway equipment and additional associated services in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience, preferably in a similar industry.
• Ownership of basic hand tools/tool box for the task at hand.

• Must be able to operate and drive equipment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Mechanical knowledge or background.

Responsibilities

• Report for shift on time and dressed in proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean worksite / shop and a safe work environment including using all safety equipment and following all safety procedures.
• Interact with employees in a professional manner.
• Ensures that all tools are accessible.
• Service and repair all trucks and equipment; Fuel, lube, grease and filters.
• Make general repairs to equipment or trucks.
• Monitor work flow and make adjustments as required.
