Essential Job Functions 1. Provide maintenance support to manufacturing in the troubleshooting and repair of all manufacturing equipment on a scheduled and as-needed basis. 2. Complete PM tasks (filter, inspection, oil, etc.). 3. Perform tight-tolerance machining tasks. 4. Set up and operate all machine shop equipment (saws, drills, mills, lathes, grinders, CNC, etc.). 5. Provide training to ‘A’, ‘B’, and ‘C’ level mechanics on the completion of higher skill level maintenance tasks. 6. Operate and repair industrial trucks. 7. Make recommendations for continuous improvement and error proofing initiatives. 8. Utilize advanced design engineering capabilities to make recommendations for equipment upgrades. 9. Perform complex level fabrication repairs and projects (aluminum, stainless steel, welding). 10. Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment issues (registration, timing on printing and finishing processes). 11. Troubleshoot and identify basic electrical equipment (breaker and fuse). 12. Support and assist Facilities and Electrical maintenance staff as needed. 13. Operate fork trucks/man-lifts as needed. 14. Use a variety of tools to perform maintenance duties including hand and power tools. 15. Read and interpret equipment manuals, OEM prints, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. 16. Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Maintenance Supervision and Management to review and detect manufacturing process issues and make suggestions for improvement. 17. Communicate with machine operators as needed to perform efficient and effective troubleshooting and equipment repair. 18. Comply with all industry standards and regulations (ISO, FDA, etc.). 19. Support and assist ‘C’ and ‘B’ level mechanics as needed. 20. Support and assist Facilities and Electrical maintenance staff as needed. 21. Other duties as assigned. Requirements • GED or High School Diploma • 5-7 years mechanic experience within a manufacturing setting with advanced level skills • Must have completed of Technical/Mechanical training courses/certificates Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work in a constructive, positive manner with others in a team environment • Basic reading, math, and direction following skills. • Must be able to read, comprehend, and execute production orders and operating procedures • Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment • Ability to problem solve • Mechanical aptitude with a strong desire to learn and advance to higher level maintenance positions • Knowledge of manufacturing standards, regulations, and procedures • Through knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes specific to Nissha Medical Technologies • General Electrical, Mechanical, and Hydraulic Troubleshooting Skills • Ability to operate fork truck and man-lift equipment • Advanced machining skills • Advanced pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge • Ability to follow directions and provide training to lower level mechanics • Knowledge of CMMS • Knowledge of PM programs • Advanced knowledge of continuous improvement initiatives • Basic engineering knowledge • Basic continuous improvement knowledge
