About The Position

Empower Rental Group is seeking a Level 3 Mechanic for their Spartanburg, South Carolina location. Empower Rental Group is a growing family of local equipment rental providers across the Southeastern US, having expanded from 3 locations in 2021 to over 36 locations. The company aims to differentiate itself in the equipment rental industry.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience
Valid Driver’s License and the Ability to Drive Company Vehicles per Insurance Requirements may be required on a case-by-case basis, depending on branch needs.
Excellent Customer Service Skills – for both internal and external customers.
Exhibits average computer skills.
Completes rental equipment preparation by delivery date.
Maintains a ready line.
Achieves quality standards.
Must have own basic tools.

Responsibilities

Assists customers with loading and unloading fleet orders.
Assists customers with questions/customer service as applicable.
Assists other mechanics with tasks such as lifting or moving heavy objects.
Cleans up the yard and shop area.
May perform repairs on the small fleet.
Diagnose standard issues with heavy equipment powertrain, hydraulic, and electrical systems using a computer analyzer and traditional troubleshooting methods.
Complete standard repairs to the fleet.
Complete inspections.
Completes any type of work with supervision.
Maintains a safe work environment.
Performs job functions safely at all times.
Demonstrates behaviors aligned with Company’s Core Values at all times.
Assists in driving a continuous improvement strategy within the business to result in ongoing incremental gains in quality and efficiency.
