About The Position

Join our dynamic team at Business Unit Specialized, a cornerstone of the Tube Division within Alleima Group! We are proud to be a global actor in producing and supplying high-quality tubular products for cutting-edge industries like High Pressure, Aerospace, Medical, and Hydrogen. Our innovative solutions, crafted from corrosion-resistant alloys such as stainless steel, nickel, and titanium, are setting new standards in these exciting markets. We are looking for Mechanic-1 collaborators to join our team and perform maintenance activities in our Production Unit Alleima Special Metals located at Kennewick (WA), specialized in producing the high precision titanium tube products for very demanding markets like Aerospace and Medical. Our production unit currently employs approximately 135 people, with an ambitious recruitment plan in place to support our growth objectives in the coming years. As a member of the Maintenance team, you will be responsible for supporting the Production Group with performing general maintenance on equipment, daily preventative maintenance, and centerless grinding and tooling assembly.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 3-5 years of experience in Tooling, Machining, or Millwright roles; 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting skills preferred
• Excellent customer service skills and a collaborative team player.
• Familiarity with the following equipment and processes: Milling Machines (horizontal, vertical, and jig bore); Lathes (engine and tabletop models); Grinding Machines (surface and cylindrical); Machine Repair; Soldering; Heat Treating

Responsibilities

• Follows instructions of work within time constraints to meet established delivery targets.
• Adjusts equipment and repairs/replaces defective parts components or systems per instructions.
• Inspects equipment for proper performance and determines faults and malfunctions.
• Identifies additional repairs, compiles parts and labor estimates.
• Be able to participate in continuing education training.
• Handle other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Benefits

• The hourly rate for this position is 36.84 and after one year goes to 40.93 per hour and we guarantee 40 hours/week full time position.
