As a Mechanical Design Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical systems and components that meet customer requirements and industry standards. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Mason, OH location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our mechanical design processes, contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality products that enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.   • Design and develop mechanical components and systems, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and customer specifications.
  • Conduct analysis and simulations to validate designs and improve product performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical and software components.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks and AutoCAD, for creating detailed design drawings and models.
  • Experience with engineering analysis tools and methodologies, including FEA and GD&T.
  • Advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience in product development and project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical design.
